The employment landscape has changed dramatically as a result of the pandemic, affecting the technology we use, the information we share, and even the places we work. Many businesses are familiar with the laws dealing with privacy requirements for their customers. However, in recent years, this focus has expanded to include strict regulations covering the collection, use, and handling of employee data, which can contain much more sensitive information.

Laura Pfeiffer represents clients in employment matters, working to be a true counselor and provide practical yet creative solutions. Employment issues can feel very personal and stressful, and with her experience in both counseling and litigation, Laura has the perspective to advise not only on a course of action, but also how to prevent or handle litigation should it arise. Laura is also a qualified neutral, helping resolve disputes smoothly outside of the courts.

 

Aimée Dayhoff – Winthrop & Weinstine

Aimée Dayhoff practices in the areas of employment and commercial litigation and is a certified mediator. She represents a wide range of companies of all sizes, in industries such as food and beverage, financial institutions

 

 

Lisa Ellingson – Winthrop & Weinstine

Lisa Ellingson is an attorney at Winthrop & Weinstine and co-chair of the firm’s Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence practice group. She advises clients on a wide range of data protection and privacy matters, including compliance, investigations, and disputes. Lisa is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
