Matt Murphy is an Account Executive for Horton’s Risk Advisory Services, where he maintains a high level of coordination between sales and operational/client services activities. In his role, Matt focuses on providing prospects and clients with a holistic understanding of insurance.

“Having spent six years as an underwriter, I understand the intricate nuances of insurance coverage,” Matt says. “This background equips me with the expertise to decipher, interpret and advocate for optimal coverages tailored to our clients’ needs.”

Originally from the South side of Chicago, Matt currently resides in the Western Suburbs with his wife, Katie. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time on the golf course, relaxing at his parents’ lake house, or participating in various sports activities.
